China International Exhibition Center (Jing'anzhuang Hall)
China International Exhibition Center (Jing'anzhuang Hall) is the earliest national-level exhibition hall approved by the State Council, ranking first among the top ten buildings in Beijing in the 1980s. Since its completion in 1985 and hosting the "Asia-Pacific Expo", it has begun the prelude to the booming development of China's modern exhibition industry after reform and opening up, which has effectively promoted the rapid development of China's exhibition industry. Besides, it played a positive and important role in promoting China's reform and opening up, economies and technological communication home and abroad, trade exchanges and the socialist market economy system.
China International Exhibition Center (Jing'anzhuang Hall) has eight exhibition halls, with an indoor area of more than 60,000 square meters and the outdoor area of 7,000 square meters. After more than 30 years of cultivation and development, nearly 100 exhibitions and activities are held, covering a total area of more than 2 million square meters every year. It has been widely welcomed by domestic and foreign exhibitors. Since the completion of the Tianzhu New Hall (Phase 1) in 2008, the two halls have strengthened overall coordination, professional management and integrated operations. Jing'anzhuang Hall has also played an incubator role in cultivating and transporting large exhibitions to the Tianzhu New Hall.
